Treatment for Lice

Getting rid of head lice is easy. Though it is a fact that this infection easily becomes contagious, this can be cured easily. Causes of lice are almost everywhere same as its treatment. Treatment for lice is available in almost every convenient store.
There are also available lice treatment at home which you can use to get rid of head lice.
- Tea Tree Oil. An effective home remedy for head lice is Tea Tree Oil. This is use to remove and kill the eggs and remove the lice too.
- Head lice shampoos with Permethrin. This shampoo can be brought to any convenience store. You can apply the shampoo for 10 to 15 minutes to your hair and rinse it. The result may not be instant but it definitely removes lice as day progress. You can repeat if needed.
- Use Nit comb. Nit comb is effective in removing adult lice while you need bees wax or olive oil to effectively remove the nits. Apply the wax or oil before using the comb.
- Isopropanol with at least 0.5% Malathion. This FDA approved treatment for lice. Same as the other head lice shampoo, you need to leave it for 10 to 12 hours before rinsing to effectively remove lice.

I saw an article about vinegar will also do well on treatment for lice. will this work?
Yes it is the common treatment for lice you can find in your home. However, vinegar serves as more of a preventive measure rather than a cure. For more info check out more pages on our site.
